We are excited to have Dr. Carissa Gentry as part of our co-op livestock team. Dr. Gentry grew up in North Georgia and gained hands-on experience with beef and dairy cattle before gaining her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee.
She offers a wide range of services to our livestock co-op customers –> beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep and goats.
Through Dr. Gentry we offer comprehensive herd health care and protocols – including vaccination, deworming, implanting, castrating, and dehorning. In addition, she is there for all your reproductive needs – heifer pre-breeding exams, pregnancy diagnosis via ultrasound, and bull breeding soundness exams. She is also available for individual sick animal exams and treatment.
For routine clients, she also offers emergency services.
